Thomas Brück – Expert in synthetic biotechnology and sustainable biotechnological processes
Another member of the #lalausitz team is Thomas Brück. He holds the Werner Siemens Chair for Synthetic Biotechnology at the Technical University of Munich and is Director of the globally unique #TUM Algae Technical Center. The methods developed here allow the production of CO2-based #carbon fibers and new #CO2-degressive #lightweight materials such as carbon fiber brick composites, which can be used as a replacement for steel and aluminum-based supporting components in the construction sector.
